Who is CBA & You?
We are C.B.A. & You, Inc., an organization focused on providing quality archery education from certified coaches to youth and their families. We organized in 2003, and since that time, we have taught youth and their parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents from age 4 to 96 archery at many different events. A short list of events that we have taught at include running our own 3D archery competitions for 4 years, teaching at wild game dinners, teaching boy scouts and girl scouts, youth groups, private lessons, teaching at retail establishments including Cabela’s, and for big events including the Oktoberfest at Union Station in Kansas City and the Great Outdoors Discovery Festival in Liberty, MO, as well as other boys and girls camps, for homeschools, public schools, private schools, boys and girls homes, and so many others. We teach one day classes and introductory lessons, six to nine week courses, camps, private lessons, semi-private lessons, birthday parties, as well as offer a JOAD/Adult Advanced Club and Competitive Team, etc. Contact us for rates, available dates, and event details.
Archery has been a sport that has come and gone out of the spotlight throughout history. We have found since starting C.B.A. & You, Inc., in 2003 that archery is coming back into the spotlight again and there is a lot of interest to learn archery, and learn it properly! In order to be the most certified to teach archery, we searched for programs that would give us the ability to claim the title of Archery Coaches. We have since gained our different certifications (listed below). We have Lots of Friends that we have met through Archery and Family who have become interested in archery since beginning C.B.A. & You, and a lot of them teach archery at different events and at our indoor archery range with us. Credentials:
We are USAA (United States of America Archery) Level 1, Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 certified archery coaches (including JOAD or Junior Olympic Archery Development and Adult Archery Development), NASP (National Archery in the Schools Program) Certified Archery Coaches, and Missouri Department of Conservation Bowhunter Education Certified Instructors. Where are we located?
Archery Excellence Indoor Archery by C.B.A. & You, Inc., at 4420 South Noland Road in Independence, MO 64055 is our home base. Archery Philosophy:
Through the disciplines learned in archery, you not only learn a valuable and fun sport, but also gain self-confidence, boost self-esteem, learn to be disciplined, gain better focus, and learn the value of life and how to treat others with that same value. We are offering the youth an opportunity of a lifetime and will hopefully bring about some of the next generation of expert archers and Olympic medalists, as well as doctors, lawyers and model citizens in the process. Archery has so many great Life Lessons to offer (helps with patience, determination, confidence and more)!!
Our name acronym:
We are Christ (without Him we can do nothing), Bows, Arrows (what we teach/coach) & Youth (youth is our main focus, but we teach archery to all ages), Incorporated, or C.B.A. & You, Inc. for short, and we want to Teach Archery at your Event or Help You Learn or become better at Archery at our new Indoor Archery facility!!
Our Future:
We opened our first Indoor Archery range in Independence, MO in December 2014!! The facility name is Archery Excellence Indoor Archery Range/Learning Center, Pro Shop/Archery Supply by C.B.A. & You, Inc., and is located at 4420 South Noland Road, Independence, MO 64055. Youth and families can come and bring their own equipment or borrow the equipment necessary to learn or become better at archery and have highly certified archery coaches to teach them. Our hope is to make archery exciting for this and future generations, so our indoor archery range is so much more than just archery lanes! Where Do We Teach Archery?
Our indoor archery range is located at 4420 South Noland Road in Independence, MO 64055… Since 2003, we have taught archery for all kinds of events all over the KC Metropolitan area… Our indoor facility is called Archery Excellence Indoor Archery Range/Learning Center, Pro Shop/Archery Supply by C.B.A. & You, Inc. Most of our teaching is at our indoor facility, but we still offer archery for festivals, family reunions, camps, and after school programs, at your location or find an area to teach archery near your location – minimum requirement of 15 participants…
We will just need to add an extra amount for our fuel… usually $0.65 per mile… to and from your location…
