Dads Day Out Outdoor Tournament

Come join us for an Outdoor Tournament at the Independence Athletics Complex at 17800 E Salisbury Road in Independence, MO on Father’s Day (Sunday, June 20, 2021)!!

DAD’S DAY OUT OUTDOOR TOURNAMENT (12 ends of 6 arrows = 72 arrow total)

SCHEDULE
8:30-9:45 AM – Athlete Check-In and Equipment Check
10:00 AM – Official Practice (3 ends)
10:15 AM – Tournament Begins – Outdoor Round – 72 arrows
Please check in at the table at entrance to the field; equipment check, practice, and competition will all take place at the outdoor target range. Practice available only between 9:00 am and 9:30 am for $5/person, includes target

MEMBERSHIP
The tournament is open to all USA Archery and/or NFAA members. NFAA members can participate by filling out a USA Archery temporary membership (free for NFAA members).  Please see this page or contact memberships@usarchery.org for further information.

National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) and S3DA archers can obtain a free one year trial membership to USA Archery.  Please see this page for more information.

Archers ages 14 and under shooting a basic compound (Genesis Style) bow are eligible to compete in the Basic Compound Cub division.

All archers are welcome!

PREREQUISITES
Competitor must be a USA Archery or NFAA member in good standing.

Medals given to top 3 places in all divisions based on 72 arrow qualifying round!

Divisions (age is based on 12/31/2021)

– Senior & Junior (18-20) – Recurve – 70 meters 
– Masters 50+, 60+ & 70+, Cadet (15-17) – Recurve – 60 meters 
– Senior, Junior, Cadet, Masters 50+, 60+, 70+ – Compound – 50 meters 
– Cub (13-14) – Recurve – 50 meters 
– Masters/Sr/Jr/Cadet – Barebow – 50 meters 
– Bowman (<=12) – Recurve – 30 meters 
– Cub (13-14) – Compound – 30 meters 
– Cub (13-14) / Bowman (<=12) – Barebow/Basic – 30 meters 
– Bowman (<=12) – Compound – 25 meters 
All compound archers shoot individual 6 ring 80cm targets
All recurve/barebow archers shoot 122cm targets

Rules: 
– All NAA / FITA / JOAD rules will be in effect (60# limit for compound bows). 
– Either USA Archery (NAA) or NFAA membership is required to compete per USA Archery Safe Sport rules. Archers may also obtain a one (1) event USA Archery membership for $15 at www.usarchery.org or at the tournament.
